Volunteer Participation & Liability Disclaimer

RallyHarbor is a technology platform designed to help organizations coordinate volunteers, manage locations, and track participation in community activities. RallyHarbor does not organize, supervise, or manage volunteer activities directly.
By participating in any volunteer activity organized through the RallyHarbor platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Platform Role
RallyHarbor provides software tools that allow organizations and event organizers to coordinate volunteer efforts.
RallyHarbor does not:
- Plan or supervise volunteer events
- Provide instructions for volunteer activities
- Verify the safety of locations
- Manage participants during events
- Provide on-site support or oversight
All activities are organized and managed by the event organizers using the platform.
2. Voluntary Participation
Participation in any activity listed on RallyHarbor is completely voluntary.
Volunteers choose whether or not to participate in events, visit locations, or complete assigned activities.
Volunteers are responsible for using their own judgment regarding:
- Safety
- Travel
- Environmental conditions
- Interaction with businesses, property owners, or the public
3. Organizer Responsibility
Organizations and event organizers using RallyHarbor are solely responsible for:
- Planning and managing events
- Communicating instructions to volunteers
- Ensuring activities comply with local laws and regulations
- Ensuring volunteer safety
- Obtaining any required permissions for outreach or flyer placement
RallyHarbor does not verify the legitimacy, safety, or legality of events organized through the platform.
4. Assumption of Risk
By participating in volunteer activities coordinated through RallyHarbor, volunteers acknowledge that real-world activities may involve risks, including but not limited to:
- Travel to various locations
- Interactions with members of the public
- Outdoor environments
- Physical activity
Volunteers assume all risks associated with participation.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RallyHarbor and its affiliates are not responsible for any injuries, damages, losses, or incidents that may occur during or as a result of volunteer activities organized through the platform.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Personal injury
- Property damage
- Disputes with businesses or property owners
- Incidents occurring while traveling to or from volunteer locations
RallyHarbor serves only as a technology platform connecting organizers and volunteers.
6. Independent Participants
Volunteers participating in activities coordinated through RallyHarbor are not employees, agents, or representatives of RallyHarbor.
Participation does not create any employment, partnership, or agency relationship with RallyHarbor.
7. Organizer Liability
Organizations and event organizers using the platform are responsible for ensuring that their events are conducted safely and lawfully.
Organizers may choose to provide their own volunteer waivers or liability forms where appropriate.
8. Agreement
By participating in events organized through RallyHarbor, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to participate at your own discretion and risk.
